If you see a Blue and yellow CJ there let me know. I knew I shoulda takin the keys with me.  That would be my son Ryan , little thief !  I got stuck fishing the Gulf of Mexico so I will be missin the Rally for the second time since its been in Ct,      FjR68

lol yep. I watched him break a front hub on the hard part of the rock garden. At least thats what it sounded like. The bright side was it was right at the beginning before he was able to get into even mor trouble. lol

I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped out at our booth.
From set up, answering questions, recruiting new members, and take down.
It was a perfect day and a successful day for NEJeep and the Great American Jeep Rally.

X2 - I was a non-entity because I was shooting the event, but every time I stopped in, somebody was telling one of the attendees about Northeast Jeep.

I wondered why I didn't see you.

The rally was pretty sweet! Watched Tom go through the big side of the rock pit and made it look easy. The JKU on 42's that was behind him struggled to get up the first rock and then proceeded to break something in the front end about 10 feet into the pit. It was pretty entertaining to watch to say the least.

And now the work begins.  We made 2 full passes through the mud pit.  I drove one and Josh drove the other.  Josh did the middle rocks with no problem.  When I tried the big rocks I split the front driveshaft at the splines.  It was fun putting it back together after just coming out of the mud pit.  We fixed it right at the rock pile and ran it the rest of the day with no problems.

The mud was deep enough the first run that there are weeds stuck in the hood latch!

The Dana 60 makes the perfect mower for weeds hiding under the mud

This event was the first time I took my new JKU off-road.  We were restricted to the obstacle course only, but that was still fun, did it a couple of times.
Thanks to Steve for greeting us at the booth, advice and encouragement.  Really looking forward to Roctoberfest.  Now just got the taste, but the course was so short, just a tease.
