Thank for the feedback Rey! the cavoite is I'd have to sell my TJ or hide it so we have less than three personal vehicles on the property...

I like option 4 Frank! As long as you can get the brakes squared away.

X2 but why do you need to sell TJ? What’s wrong with 3 vehicles? I hate only having 2 at the moment!

Why? Is this a personal decision or some sort of ordnance? Do you really want to wheel a 4-door?

Well it's going to be option 1 - trade the JK in.  She called with the VIN and they offered her $17K for the trade in of the 10 year old JK.  If the warranty is transferable they'll give her $18K.  With that value - she can afford to buy the new vehicle out right, so no car payments...

Ever read your town codes and see what you may be in violation of?

Here are some of Wethersfield’s. They don’t seem to enforce much though.  Except that night time parking restriction.  I’ve seen neighbors ticketed for it.

I see lots of inoperable vehicles around town that haven’t moved for years and parking off the official parking surfaces.  Fine with me that they leave it alone.

One of the reasons I made sure we didn’t buy in a planned community or HOA was so that I could do what I wanted with my vehicles more or less.

There's no code - just the wife's rule.  No spare vehicles.  I have a company card in the driveway too.

She put a down payment on the Jeep today.

Ran the VIN to get a build sheet - this thing is loaded!  Heated seats, skid plates, Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires...

New 2021?

I do love those Falcon Wildpeaks. I had them on the chevy, and we bought a set for Emily’s XJ last year. They are a great year round tire.

They are standard on the Traihawk versions of the Cherokee, Compass, and the Rubicon version of the Gladiator truck.

Another thing I noticed with the build sheet - 4.33 axle / differential gear ratio! combined  9 speed Automatic w/OD on 28" tires

Axle 4.33

First Gear Ratio (:1)
4.71
Second Gear Ratio (:1)
2.84
Third Gear Ratio (:1)
1.91
Fourth Gear Ratio (:1)
1.38
Fifth Gear Ratio (:1)
1.00
Sixth Gear Ratio (:1)
0.81
Seventh Gear Ratio (:1)
0.70
Eighth Gear Ratio (:1)
0.58
Ninth Gear Ratio (:1)
NA
Reverse Ratio (:1)
3.81

My YJ on 35's had 4.56 gears, my friend's 2003 Rubicon had 4:11 on 31" tires
