Let's go wheeling!

I might be in.  I have to see how the rest of my week goes.  I will made a decision Friday if that is ok.
 
Whats the thought process for the drive up and back?  Are you guys planning on going up Friday and coming back Saturday or Sunday or just toughing out a full commute for Saturday? 
 
I'm still planning on running it.    I have road names, and I've run 2 of them for 100% certainty.  The other's I'm not 100% sure of the locations.  If someone with better gps plotting can pm me we can set a route.  My local guy (who is more familiar than me with the area) had something come up and won't be able to help navigate but has sent me a screen shot of the pinned roads on Google Earth.

I believe there is a way to share those pinned locations. See if he can send you a link so you can access the map with the pins on it rather than just a screenshot.

I'm working on it with him now.  There's a route he takes so it's "up" the obsticals, not just "down".  I've run this area 3-4 times with another group, and I went back a couple more times to the roads I'm familiar with.  I'll have it all worked out tonight or tomorrow evening.  Wish I had time to pre-run it, but work schedule blocks it for me.
 
Are the roads you plan to run closer to dirt roads or more like trails? Or a mix? I have wanted to explore the class VI road system in NH for a while but unfortunately I have not made it up there yet.

I'm talking some trips with other local groups.  May be further north my next run.

These are the "trails" class 6 roads. The pic Ken posted for me is what to expect.
 
Anyone else thinking about going up? It’s a very long drive from southern CT. I’d much prefer to convoy in case something were to come up on the way there.
