I’m out can’t get sitter that weekend

Kids are welcome, I'll have my 7 yo with me.

He hates running into town. Spending an entire day in a vehicle is hell for him.

It doesn’t faze him. Maybe a horse tranquilizer lol

With the current outlook, I'm going to suggest we reschedule for a different weekend. I'm just not interested in making this drive each way by myself. I do think these trails are worth checking out, but this doesn't look like the weekend to do it.
