OFF ROAD RACING is back!!!!!!

Just got this flyer in the mail yesterday.  The guys at CC4W have built a new track at the Hill Climb location at Monson.  It must be in the field that was the big mud hole 2 years ago at Topless day.

Now if I only had a Race Jeep.  I plan on going up in May and checking out the track.  If it is something doable in a stock/modified Jeep,  I think I will build another Race Jeep.  You can't believe how much fun it is to drive your Jeep as fast as you can.  Anyone in?  Any good donor vehicles out there to start with?  I've got the fuel cell, harnesses, seats....All the bolt on stuff, just need something to put it in.

I know a guy who has a CJ 7 out in the woods... just gotta remove the plow first

I know a guy with a CJ-5 in the wood with a plow.  I wonder if he'll trade.

I checked out the web site, very limited information, and pretty sure it was for hill climbs, not CC4W.

It is CC4W, there will be a track for southwick style racing. The track is being built for a spring race on May 22 2016. check out CC4W.org. There will be racing.

Cool, I'm just finishing up my buggy.
I wish they had Ultra4 style classes.
I guess I'll be in the experimental class.

Might take a while to fit into these rules.

The guys at CC4W are good to work with.  Ask them any questions at Tech Inspection and they will head you down the right path.

I wonder how a  buggy built for the rocks would do...  I would think it would have to much suspension. 

We used to run our commando with big rubber bump stops just a few inches above the axle

Anyone have an old Ford Ranger? 

I was looking into the new "Bro Lite" class at Monson and thought it was a typo for "Pro-Lite". 

It is a real class for stock 2wd 4 popper Ford Rangers.

I could build one of these in a couple of weekends.  I just need a donor to start with.

I contacted CC4W today and they said that the trails will be open for riding on Race day next Sunday.  I plan on taking up the BYS and check out how they manage the trails.  I'm not sure if it will be before and after the race or open all day.

They said the new track is pretty much done so we can check it out tomorrow!
