What did you do to your Jeep today?

drove mine to work today too. it's way more work to drive than my daily.
 
Not on my Jeep, but on the tow rig. Got a CEL for 02 sensor. Swapped it out and no more CEL and running very smooth. I thought it was going to be a real battle getting it out, but it wasn't the original. I just hit it with some penetrant, let it sit for a day, used a 02 sensor socket and it broke free without any drama.  :cool:

Harbor Freight has one for like $6 but it got some bad reviews. This one from Amazon was only $10 and got great reviews:

It seems like a never ending battle with mine, put more gas in it.  I think there's a leak, I just can't seem to keep it full.
 
I have an O2 socket . It looks like a deep socket. It wont hold (slips) taking them out but seams to install them okay. Did this one try to open when removing the O2 ? Was it oem or already replaced with never seize on it?  FjR68

The sensor that was in there was not the original (It's a '99). I used a 3/8ths ratchet with a flex head and a cheater. I didn't feel any deflection or deformation in the tool. It broke free before I felt something else would break.
 
Have never had to do an O2 Sensor myself, but couldn't you just cut the wire if you're replacing the old one anyway and use a deep socket or closed end of a box wrench to pull it, then use a tool like this to put in the new one if the old one is giving you problems?

I guess no holds barred when taking it out. In the video I saw for a 1999 Dodge Ram, the guy used a pipe wrench!
